MY BOOK
A Road To Somewhere....

This book was written in lockdown, at a time when life felt upside down and inside out. It isn’t a guide or a roadmap. It’s a collection of moments — honest, messy, sometimes painfully funny — from a chapter of my life that didn’t go the way I expected.
Inside, you’ll find the whole metamorphosis: figuring out who I was, living alone, finding love, building a marriage, and then facing infertility, IVF, endometriosis, and the complicated comfort of alcohol when everything felt too heavy. It’s the chrysalis stage in all its chaos — counselling sessions, medical appointments, emotional plot twists, and the kind of humour you cling to when the alternative is falling apart.
And then comes the butterfly part. The gentler chapters. The unexpected joys. The sausage dog mum era. The surgeries that tried to knock me down but didn’t. The slow, surprising realisation that you can rebuild yourself, even when you’re not sure who you’re becoming.
My life has moved on since I wrote this. I’m standing in a different place now — softer, steadier, and with a lot more clarity. But the heart of this book still matters. It’s for anyone who’s somewhere between breaking and becoming, trying to make sense of a life that didn’t follow the script.
It’s a reminder I still believe in:
It’s going to be okay in the end. And if it’s not okay, it's not the end.
